Running with Pete

I ran another smaller 5K race in Atlanta, but it is becoming one of my favorites.
I ran the Beat the Street for Little Feet 5K again this year. It's the one with Pete the Cat.
The race T-shirts always feature Pete the Cat, a children's book character. I've heard the author, James Dean's children used to go to Oakhurst Co-op Preschool, which sponsors and benefits from the race.
And who doesn't love Pete the Cat?

So, not one of my better races. Still working through a tight IT band. And I miss my running buddy Erin, who used to run it with me. She was out of town for this one.
So I was only able to run with Pete. But he's a good running buddy too. See you next year!
